Live Demo Presented by Web – Video Crossroads
Join us for a side-by-side comparison of how each editing software performs the most common and the most important tasks in your workflow. The event will focus on helping you determine which will best serve your professional editing needs going forward and will feature:
- Side-by-side presentation of Premiere Pro CS6 and Final Cut Pro X.
- The most important editing tasks will be demonstrated in one, then the other.
- It is our intent to show the best features of each so attendees will be able to judge which software best fits their unique needs.
- An opportunity to network with fellow Multimedia Interactive Arts professionals.
- A raffle, with the grand prize of an Adobe CS6 Production Bundle worth $1,899.00 as the main door prize.
This "Duel" will feature 2 presenters, 2 computers, 2 projectors and 2 screens.

In Orange County, the ima4biz initiative was a name and direction change in 2011 to keep pace with the emerging technologies. It is funded by the Economic & Workforce Development Program of the California Community Colleges. This Initiative is comprised of the Orange County Digital Media Center, the North Orange County School of Continuing Education, and four community colleges:

Creative Suite User Group - Orange County (CS-OC)
This group provides local designers and developers with a forum for learning from speakers and from each other about how best to leverage the power of Adobe applications in their business workflows. Topics include trends in multimedia, demos of Adobe Creative Suite applications, including Photoshop,Illustrator, InDesign, and others, as well as discussions of best business practices for web technology and the digital arts. Using the software applications and services now available in the Creative Cloud, this group is also focused on designing content for mobile devices.
Web and mobile professionals wanting more information on video and video pros seeking insight into web and mobile technology will find stimulating, informative meeting topics. Those intrigued by the business "sweet spot" where web and video come together will also find the WebVid group to be profitable.
